Job Overview:
The HR Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Human Resources department, ensuring that HR policies and procedures are effectively implemented across the organization. This role involves supervising the HR team, managing recruitment, employee relations, and performance management processes, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The HR Supervisor plays a key role in promoting a positive work environment and fostering employee engagement and development.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations:
Supervise day-to-day HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, timekeeping, and benefits administration.
Ensure HR policies are applied consistently across the organization and remain compliant with labor regulations.
Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Oversee the recruitment process, from job posting to interviewing and selection, ensuring the right talent is sourced and hired.
Manage the onboarding process for new hires, providing a smooth transition into the company and fostering a positive experience.
Employee Relations:
Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries and concerns.
Address employee grievances and disciplinary issues in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Promote a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives and employee support programs.
Performance Management:
Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes, ensuring timely performance evaluations and feedback.
Support managers in conducting performance reviews and providing guidance on employee development plans.
Training & Development:
Identify training needs across the organization and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
Support leadership in employee development initiatives, succession planning, and career pathing.
Compliance & Policy Management:
Ensure the organization complies with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
Regularly review and update HR policies and procedures to reflect legal requirements and best practices.
Supervision & Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and support the HR team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Assign tasks, monitor team performance, and ensure that HR activities are aligned with the overall business goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
3-5 years of HR experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
In-depth knowledge of HR processes, labor laws, and best practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
