We are currently seeking an innovative and results-driven Business Development Supervisor who will be responsible for searching potential opportunities aligned with Megawide's strategic plan and 5-year roadmap.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for data collection and analysis, investment appraisal, preparation of documentation, and securing the necessary approvals to develop a project.
  2. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
  3. Analyze industry trends to stay ahead of market developments.
  4. Work on expanding the company's network by consistently connecting with public and private sector stakeholders, potential partners, or consultants for opportunity identification.
  5. Monitor publications and reach out to contacts for new projects (e.g., implementing agency, PhilGeps, etc.).
  6. Initially screen opportunities based on pre-determined criteria and approved by the Bids Committee.
  7. Oversee the bids team and coordinate with joint venture/consortium partners for proposal/bid submission.
  8. Oversee preparation of documents such as but not limited to: (a) eligibility documents; (b) technical; and (c) financial proposals, etc.
  9. Conduct kickoff meetings to ensure alignment of responsibilities with the Construction Team.

Qualifications:

  1. Candidate should have a strong understanding of the Philippine government procurement process and a proven track record in business development within private and public sectors.
  2. Strong background in the Construction industry.
  3. Graduate of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or other related courses.
  4. Additional background in finance, accounting, business, management, or economics is a plus.
  5. Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in project management/project coordination.
  6. Must have at least three (3) years of experience in a Supervisory capacity in the Construction Industry.
