Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and successful delivery of a portfolio of IT projects focused on developing, enhancing, and maintaining systems and applications.
  • Ensures IT projects are aligned with overall business strategy and contribute to KPIs such as customer satisfaction, transaction volume, or revenue growth.
  • Oversees the entire lifecycle of multiple IT projects.
  • Ensures projects are initiated, planned, executed, monitored, controlled, and closed successfully according to established project management methodologies.
  • Develops and manages budgets for the IT project portfolio.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive IT Project Management Experience: 8-10+ years of progressive experience in IT project management, including successfully leading complex projects.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing project teams and potentially other project managers (3-5+ years in a leadership or directorial role preferred).
  • Domain Expertise: Significant experience working within the financial services or payments industry, with a strong understanding of cards, payments, loans and associated technologies.
  • Familiarity with Relevant Technologies and Languages: Awareness of the programming languages and technologies commonly used in the industry (such as .NET, Java, Python, C++, C#).
  • Methodology Proficiency: Strong understanding and practical application of various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
