Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain healthcare-focused software applications.
  • Collaborate with the analytics department to implement data-driven solutions.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Identify and troubleshoot software issues, providing timely resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in application development.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Document technical specifications and provide training for end-users, if required.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align application development with organizational goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Application Developer should have:

  • Technical Leadership: Proven experience in guiding teams in agile, fast-paced environments, with a focus on fostering collaboration and driving results.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience also considered.
  • Technical Expertise: Skilled in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript) and frameworks like .NET, Spring Boot, or Node.js. Experienced in API development, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with Azure Application Insights is a plus.
  • Front-End Proficiency: Knowledgeable in front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, with a focus on responsive design principles.
  • DevOps & Tools: Hands-on experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and database management (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to mentor developers, maintain code quality, and ensure project success across diverse teams.
  • Attention to Detail: Committed to delivering scalable, secure, and maintainable code for long-term impact.
