Audit Services offers an opportunity to join a global team that provides independent assurance and consulting to assess risks and protect assets, reputation, and sustainability. This role focuses on the APAC region within the Global Audit Services Department.

Role

As a Senior Auditor, you will contribute to planning and executing audit engagements within the APAC region. You will design and lead end-to-end execution of audits, with success measured by workpaper quality, integrity of assessments, quality of audit reports, timeliness, process improvements, and relationships with internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will collaborate with partners in different locations and report to the Associate Director in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Establish and develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
• Manage execution of assigned audit projects and deliverables to ensure timely and accurate results.
• Demonstrate professionalism and leadership during planning, walkthroughs, status meetings, and communication of audit observations with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ensure deliverables meet Internal Audit Manual standards; escalate significant concerns, budget variances, and delays affecting the audit project.

Operational

• Adhere to Policies and Standards, create electronic work papers evidencing scope and findings, and comply with professional auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Design and execute testing approaches; ensure clear, concise work papers that support reviews and decisions.
• Apply analytical skills, dialogue with business and audit partners, and risk assessment processes to identify key risks, controls, audit scope, and testing approaches.
• Develop understanding of business risks, controls, processes, and relevant laws/regulations; understand system impacts within reviewed areas.
• Communicate with senior management, lead discussions on business/risk environment and issues, and provide periodic project status updates.
• Lead other audit team members to ensure quality, timeliness, and compliance with internal audit standards.

Skills / ExperienceRequired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics preferred but not required.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, PRM, CPA, CISA, CIA, ACA, ACCA) preferable but not mandatory.
• 6+ years of experience auditing in a financial institution or similar public accounting in financial services; regulatory/compliance audit experience preferred.

Additional Skills

• Strong leadership, self-starter, ability to work independently, problem solving, and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt in a global team across multiple time zones and jurisdictions.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with audit workpapers (e.g., Teammate) is a plus.
• Data analytics experience is highly desired but not required.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines; ability to engage with senior stakeholders and work in a team.

Work Schedule

• 9am to 6pm, Mondays–Fridays, Hybrid.
