Job Description

  • Industry Expertise:
    • Serve as the go-to expert for all matters related to the Retail, Travel & Transport, and Consumer CPG domains.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
    • Provide thought leadership and insights to inform business strategies and decision-making.
  • Consulting and Advisory:
    • Collaborate with senior leadership, internal teams, and clients to understand business needs and challenges.
    • Provide expert advice and strategic recommendations to optimize business processes and improve operational efficiency.
    • Develop and deliver high-impact presentations, reports, and proposals to senior stakeholders.
  • Project Support:
    • Lead and support project teams with domain-specific knowledge throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Ensure that projects align with industry standards and best practices.
    • Contribute to the development of project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Solution Development:
    • Work with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative solutions tailored to client needs.
    • Conduct gap analyses and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Provide input on the development and customization of products and services.
  • Training and Development:
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate team members and clients on industry-specific topics.
    • Develop training materials and resources to enhance knowledge sharing.
    • Mentor and coach junior team members.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business goals and challenges.
    • Act as a trusted advisor, providing ongoing support and guidance.
    • Identify opportunities for additional business and upsell services.
  • Partner Relationships:
    • Build and nurture relationships with product partners.
    • Play a vital role in building joint go-to-market strategies with product partners.
    • Collaborate with partners to develop and deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs.

The Successful Applicant

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Master's degree or relevant industry certifications (e.g., PMP, CSCP, CLTD) are preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 12 years of experience in the Retail, Travel & Transport, and/or Consumer CPG industries.
    • Proven track record of success in a consulting or advisory role, including closing deals worth $40-50 million.
    • Extensive experience in the services industry, with a focus on project management and solution development.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to translate complex industry concepts into actionable insights.
    • Proficiency in using industry-specific software and tools.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
    • Exceptional client-facing and relationship-building skills
