Job Description
- Industry Expertise:
- Serve as the go-to expert for all matters related to the Retail, Travel & Transport, and Consumer CPG domains.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
- Provide thought leadership and insights to inform business strategies and decision-making.
- Consulting and Advisory:
- Collaborate with senior leadership, internal teams, and clients to understand business needs and challenges.
- Provide expert advice and strategic recommendations to optimize business processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and deliver high-impact presentations, reports, and proposals to senior stakeholders.
- Project Support:
- Lead and support project teams with domain-specific knowledge throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure that projects align with industry standards and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Solution Development:
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative solutions tailored to client needs.
- Conduct gap analyses and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide input on the development and customization of products and services.
- Training and Development:
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate team members and clients on industry-specific topics.
- Develop training materials and resources to enhance knowledge sharing.
- Mentor and coach junior team members.
- Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business goals and challenges.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing ongoing support and guidance.
- Identify opportunities for additional business and upsell services.
- Partner Relationships:
- Build and nurture relationships with product partners.
- Play a vital role in building joint go-to-market strategies with product partners.
- Collaborate with partners to develop and deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs.
The Successful Applicant
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree or relevant industry certifications (e.g., PMP, CSCP, CLTD) are preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in the Retail, Travel & Transport, and/or Consumer CPG industries.
- Proven track record of success in a consulting or advisory role, including closing deals worth $40-50 million.
- Extensive experience in the services industry, with a focus on project management and solution development.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate complex industry concepts into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in using industry-specific software and tools.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Exceptional client-facing and relationship-building skills
