Visual Merchandising Director Job Description

This role is for a talented Visual Merchandising Manager who will lead our in-house creative and visual merchandising teams to drive campaign development, visual branding, and retail innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the end-to-end creative process across campaigns, product visuals, and digital content
  • Manage and mentor a team of graphic designers and content creators, providing guidance and support to ensure they reach their full potential
  • Oversee visual merchandising for stores, ensuring brand alignment and consistency across all consumer touchpoints
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, e-commerce, and product teams to drive business growth
  • Manage external creative partners, vendors, and production resources, maintaining strong relationships and delivering high-quality results
  • Ensure brand consistency and maintain a deep understanding of consumer trends and preferences
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest design, retail, and consumer trends, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and excellence
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Fine Arts, Advertising, or related field
  • At least 8 years experience in design/creative roles, with 3-4 years in a leadership capacity
  • Experience in retail, beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brands preferred
  • Proven track record of successful team management, with a focus on talent development and retention
  • Strong portfolio of work across digital, social, print, and retail channels
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with a willingness to learn new tools and technologies
  • Familiarity with store visuals, activations, and product packaging, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetic appeal
