Responsibilities
  • Supervise and ensure that all Turkish Cargo procedures and standards are implemented in order to achieve day-to-day operations.
  • Promote/sell/secure business from existing and prospective customers through a consultative and solutions-based relationship approach.
  • Manage and ensure the smooth handling of all day-to-day cargo booking activities for the Manila Station.
  • Coordinate team to provide accurate reservation functions, quality customer service, and smooth ad-hoc processes.
  • Coordinate daily activities with the sales team, finance team, direct GHA/Ramp headquarters, and final destination contacts.
  • Develop relations with agents, customers, and industry companies; identify new markets; and communicate fares/charges, regulations, and innovations to agents.
  • Assess cargo potentials in the region and inform the Regional Cargo Manager; issue reports as required.
  • Respond to customers' questions, problems, requests, and/or complaints.
  • Represent and promote Turkish Cargo within the cargo industry community.
  • Contribute to achieving process targets by acting in accordance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with official authorities and handling agencies, and follow applicable rules and regulations.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Degree holder in business or related disciplines.
  • At least 3 years of experience in express logistics, airline-related industries; knowledge of reservations, flight planning, daily operational handling, e-commerce, and express processing is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of cargo operations and airline cargo sales, including pricing strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and local language(s).
  • Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic and diverse environment, and perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
