Job Summary:

The Technician at Toyota Cagayan de Oro performs various automotive maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures. The Technician will ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest standards, providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify any potential problems and provide recommendations for repair.
  • Utilize automotive technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve complex vehicle issues.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, tools, and repair techniques.
  • Interact with customers to understand their vehicle concerns and provide accurate information on required repairs and maintenance.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality workmanship and timely service.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
  • Prepare reports on vehicle conditions, repair costs, and service recommendations.
  • Ensure all work meets Toyota's quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
  • Perform final inspections on repaired vehicles to ensure all issues have been resolved.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Be willing to train and mentor junior technicians as needed.
  • Be willing to travel as required for training, customer service calls, or to provide support to other Toyota branches.
  • Adapt to changing work environments, customer needs, and new technologies.
  • Be willing to work flexible hours, including overtime, to meet customer and dealership demands.
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians, service advisors, and dealership staff to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with the team to provide updates on repair status and any issues encountered.
