The Contract Specialist shall be responsible for:

  1. Ensure contracts are clear, fair, and legally binding, protecting the interests of the Employer.
  2. Monitor the performance of contracts to ensure all parties fulfill their obligations.
  3. Resolve contract disputes and issues promptly and effectively.
  4. Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to the approved budget.
  5. Provide advice and guidance on financial and contractual matters to the project team.
  6. Ensure submission of financial reports as required by ADB and the government.
  7. Perform other duties that will be required by the employer.

Education:

  1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, business or other suitable or equitable related education.
  2. Post-graduate degree in related field is an advantage.

Experience:

  1. Minimum of fifteen (15) years of professional experience.
  2. Minimum ten (10) years' experience as Contract and/or financial management specialist in the feasibility study, detailed engineering design or construction supervision of road and/or bridge projects.
  3. Minimum seven (7) years professional experience in handling international financing institutions or organizations' financed projects using FIDIC Contracts for infrastructure projects.
