GRADUATE TRAINEE - Inventory Analyst Support

Overview

Provide Analytics & Business Intelligence for Global Inventory. Partner with regional Supply Chain Managers to identify opportunities and drive cost improvement / inventory optimization. Partner with Finance to ensure all headwinds, tailwinds, and strategic project savings are incorporated in the financial forecast.

Tasks Summary & Responsibilities

  • Maintain & report KPIs related with Inventory to drive stakeholder engagement & action.
  • Act as a liaison between regional supply chain leaders, Global Logistics, and Finance to incorporate known headwinds, tailwinds, and cost reduction projects into the quarterly forecast.
  • Track forecast attainment monthly, including Pareto analysis of misses & gap closure plans.
  • Challenge existing targets & identify further improvements by partnering with Global Logistics & Global Trade Services.
  • Collaborate with Master Data team to review and maintain system parameters.
  • Lead Slow-Moving / Obsolete inventory cadence & drive actions, including End-of-Life procedures.
  • Integrate with Corporate initiatives and Supply Planner for inventory optimization (ABC/FMR, Healthy Stock methodology).
  • Create innovative reports and digitize data presentation for better actionability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of supply chain planning, inventory management, and production planning.
  • At least 1+ year experience in master data management, data governance, preferably in supply chain planning.
  • Knowledge of master data management tools (e.g., SAP, Tableau, Informatica MDM) is a plus.
  • Understanding of data governance principles, data quality, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools like Excel, Tableau, Power BI.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, travel as needed, and adjust to global time zones.
  • Ability to develop effective relationships across departments.

Support buyers in daily purchasing transactions and execute repetitive purchases.

Job Requirements
  • Serve as liaison with suppliers, monitor prices, and ensure lowest-cost sourcing.
  • Analyze inventory usage and market conditions; suggest purchase schedule changes.
  • Document sales, inventory, purchase orders, and report to management.
  • Research, negotiate, and prepare purchase documents.
