About the Role
This position is responsible for creating and implementing strategies to engage distribution/sales partners, fostering strong relationships and driving new and existing product adoption. This role must ensure that distributors are well equipped in order to increase product and distributor activation.This individual will support the Lead for Propositions Strategy and Innovation, in the ff areas:
(1) Developing strategies to engage sales with the goal of product adoption
(2) Creating proposition-based content, mainly focused on ensuring distribution enablement
(3) Strong collaboration with sales and training teams in the roll out of product-related initiatives
(4) Development of proposition-based sales materials to help empower sales with product knowledge
(5) Conduct market scans to ensure that our products remain competitive
(6) Work closely with internal teams such as the Product Tribe, Sales, BPI AIA, and Training teams to align messaging and ensure consistency across customer and distributor touchpoints.
Expected outcomes and contributions include high quality proposition content, sales tools and training material. Increase in product activation across channels
Roles and Responsibilities:
Distribution Engagement Initiatives
- Develop and implement strategies to engage distribution/sales partners, fostering strong relationships and driving product adoption.
- Test and implement distributor education and engagement tactics to improve activation and maximize adoption
- Design and deliver product refreshers on a quarterly basis, based on business needs / areas of focus
- Where required, provide support to equip distributors to update customers on impact of market movements to their policies
Content Creation:
- Craft compelling, customer-focused content that clearly communicates the value proposition of our products/services, including presentations and marketing collateral.
Product Launch Collaboration:
- Partner with the sales and training team to create and roll out product launch initiatives, ensuring seamless communication and team preparedness.
- Develop content for product launches in partnership with Product Marketing: product video, product client presentation, etc
Sales Tools Development:
- Design user-friendly sales tools, ready reckoners, and cheat sheets to empower sales teams with clear, concise resources.
- Develop proposition based product training materials for distributors, covering product features / benefits, as well as how to position / sell product
- Conduct train the trainer both on product and usage of product kits
- Conduct training in key areas needed
Competitive Benchmarking and Surveys:
- Conduct regular competitive analysis and market surveys to scan the market landscape, ensuring our strategies remain informed and competitive
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Product Tribe, Sales, BPI AIA, and Training teams to align messaging and ensure consistency across customer and distributor touchpoints.
Performance Tracking:
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of engagement initiatives, content, and market insights, using data to optimize strategies.
- Performance tracking of new product launches and see areas for improvement for distribution.
- Monitor agent activation on product, following launch
Financial Management
- Accountable for the management of budget for their functional area and ensuring that spend falls within approved thresholds and delivers committed benefits
Risk Management
- Ensure proper risk assessments are done on all activities under their remit, establish controls for any risk/s identified, and ensure such controls are properly and consistently implemented.
- Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or another related field
- Min 5 years experience in product management, marketing, training, sales, business development,
- Excellent presentation public speaking skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills with keen eye for detail and time management
- Self-motivated and collaborative
