  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to convey technical information and collaborate with stakeholders

Role Overview:

This position ensures that the system service request for systems under production is well-defined, aligned with business objectives, and implemented smoothly, while managing stakeholder expectations throughout the process.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing and guiding a team of business analysts, ensuring that the overall strategy and methodology of business analysis are consistent.
  • Plays a leadership role in aligning business analysis efforts with organizational priorities.
  • Provides direction, sets standards, and ensures the quality of the work delivered by the business analysis team.
  • Involved in decision making, including project scope, prioritizing business analysis activities, and managing risks.
  • Ensures that the business analysts under his/her supervision are aligned with the project goals and business strategies.
  • Reviews the Business Requirements Document or System Design Specifications ensuring that the requirements are captured and translated correctly into technical design specifications.
  • Serves as an escalation point for more complex or cross-functional issues that individual BAs face.
  • Communicates with a broader range of stakeholders, including executives, project managers, and department heads.
  • Ensures that communication flows smoothly between different departments and that business unit analysis work is aligned with both tactical and strategic business needs.
  • Provides training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for the team of business analysts.
  • Responsible for building the skills and capabilities of the business analysis team, ensuring consistent best practices.
  • Oversees multiple SSRs (mini-projects) in production or initiatives simultaneously.
  • Coordinates with various ITG departments for the preparation of the SSR Release tracker for scheduling of deployment to production.
  • Provides regular feedback on the status of SSRs to the IT Project and Business Relation Department Head.
