Full job description

MediCard is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid PRC license to provide healthcare services for employees, promote health and wellness in the workplace, and assist physicians during examinations and treatments. The role also includes maintaining medical records, monitoring clinic supplies and medicines, and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective care. The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience as a staff nurse (clinic or hospital) and be licensed in their country of origin and in Qatar, where applicable.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide assistance and service to patients; attend to patient needs and take vital signs, initial history.
  • Assist doctors and nurses; provide quality care to patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to promote appropriate, high-quality outcomes and optimize member benefits.
  • Maintain medical records and monitor clinic supplies and medicines.
  • Inspect consultation rooms for supplies, ensure cleanliness, and monitor inventory.
  • Coordinate with other departments for endorsements and verifications as needed.
  • Approve diagnostic requests as appropriate based on guidelines; render overtime as required.
  • Prepare and submit timely reports and doctor\'s procedure fees; perform related tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of BS Nursing or related medical allied courses
  • Experience: Preferably 6 months healthcare experience if not a BS Nursing graduate
  • Other Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, initiative, organization, and service orientation

  • Medical Plan (HMO) from Day 1 of employment with free dependents.
  • Daily operations: updates to customers regarding medical conditions, restrictions, job duties; review and approve admissions or refer to peer advisor; ensure complete patient records; address patient-related issues promptly.
