Job Description:

  • Handle a full set of accounts independently for a portfolio of clients.
  • Assist the Assistant Director and collaborate with team members on various accounting assignments;
  • Prepare and review management accounts (monthly/quarterly/yearly), financial statements, related schedules, and XBRL financial statements in a timely manner;
  • Prepare, review, and submit quarterly GST returns promptly;
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, communicating, responding to, and resolving client queries professionally and promptly;
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth delivery of services;
  • Perform other ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned;
  • Record, encode, perform bookkeeping, and prepare financial statements.

Job Requirements:

  • Preferably with experience in service providers (Audit/Accounting firms);
  • ACCA, Degree, or Diploma in Accountancy with at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience;
  • Knowledgeable in IFRS - International Financial Reporting Standards;
  • Able to work independently or with minimal supervision to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
  • Comfortable managing a portfolio of clients from diverse backgrounds and industries;
  • Effective communication skills across departments and with clients;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office;
  • Knowledge of NetSuite, Xero, and ABSS (formerly MYOB) is advantageous;
  • Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills;
  • Able to start work as soon as possible.
