SENIOR ESG OFFICER


LOCATION: Nueva Ecija


SETUP: Onsite, Day shift


Job Description

The role will focus primarily on developing and establishing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) governance of the organization in alignment with international Sustainability and ESG standards. The role will serve as a resource/advisor for the development of the environmental and social management system (ESMS), significant in the reporting and managing the optimization of ESG-related data, including key performance indicators (KPI), risk assessment, and mitigation plan. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to ensure the company's adherence, capacity training, and business continuity, with the goal of enhancing transparency and aligning with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and company objectives in promoting a sustainable and responsible energy future.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability or a related field; Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, or ESG-specific programs is preferred
  • 8-10 years of experience in ESG compliance, project management, reporting, or database management, ideally within a corporate or consultancy setting within the energy industry
  • Strong background in IFC Performance Standards and ESG reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD) and regulatory requirements is required.
  • Solid experience in environmental and social management system (ESMS) and data management software / reporting tools
  • Experience in environmental assessment tools/activities and program management (e.g. EIA/ESIA, biodiversity study, etc.)
  • Willing to be assigned in Gapan, Nueva Ecija
  • Willing to accept a Project-based status.
