Overview

The Program Manager will lead the design, implementation, and management of the foundation's development programs, with emphasis on agriculture enterprise, nutrition sensitivity, leadership, and governance. The role ensures that programs are strategically planned, effectively managed, and sustainably impactful. The Program Manager also oversees stakeholder engagement, resource management, and capacity-building initiatives that contribute to the foundation's mission of community empowerment and social development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage programs that advance the foundation's goals in agriculture enterprise, nutrition sensitivity, leadership, and governance.
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with stakeholders, communities, and institutions to drive collaboration and maximize program impact.
  • Conceptualize and launch initiatives that promote skills training, livelihood opportunities, and economic empowerment.
  • Strengthen the foundation's branding, communications, and advocacy strategies to enhance visibility and donor engagement.
  • Oversee program operations, including financial management, budget allocation, staff supervision, and volunteer participation.
  • Ensure compliance with donor agreements, foundation policies, and program standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement, sustainability, and scaling.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Agriculture, Social Sciences, Public Administration, or a related field
  • At least 5–7 years of progressive experience in program or project management within the development, NGO, or foundation sector.
  • Demonstrated skills in stakeholder engagement, partnership building, and community mobilization.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Passionate about social impact, community empowerment, and advancing the foundation's mission.
