remedial engineer

About the Role
We're looking for a dedicated and skilled Remedial Engineer based in Manila to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will be a key player in developing practical engineering solutions and producing high-quality technical documentation for projects in Australia. You will have the opportunity to work across various project stages, with a focus on waterproofing, building envelope, and remedial design.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce technical 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and similar software

• Work alongside remedial engineers in both Manila and Australia to develop and document solutions for existing building issues, such as water ingress and concrete spalling.

• Draft detailed architectural and structural repair plans for waterproofing and remediation projects

• Ensure all documentation adheres to current legislation, including the DBP Act of Australia

• Manage drawing control and project documentation

• Maintain consistent communication with engineers and project teams

• Assist in report writing, research, and project submissions

• Apply specifications and adhere to relevant building codes and standards.

• Be proactive in problem-solving and proposing design solutions

• Support project processes with necessary administrative tasks.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role (engineering consultancy or Façade engineering preferred)

• Diploma or qualification in Engineering, Construction, and Drafting & Design

• Experience in residential architectural and structural drafting (essential)

• Proficiency inAutoCADand Microsoft Office

• Strong working knowledge of, and ability to interpret engineering codes and standards, such as NCCandAustralian Standard

• Skilled in documenting and interpreting building structures (masonry, concrete, steel, timber)

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative team

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

SCHEDULE:

• Day Shift (Mondays - Fridays) Australian timezone

• Fixed Weekends Off

• Hours commencing 7AM

• Office-based Job

• Can start Immediately

• Willing to work in Ortigas Center, Pasig City

WHAT WE OFFER:

• Salary Range: Php 60,000 – Php 75,000 per month, depending on experience
