Overview

We're looking for a Lead QA Tester with strong experience in General Ledger, Accounting, or BPO accounting processes within the financial and banking domain. This role involves leading testing efforts for critical financial applications, ensuring high-quality delivery aligned to business and regulatory requirements.

Budget: As per market standards.

Work time: Normal Business Hrs.

Work setup: Client location 5 Days WFO (Chances are there for Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead QA team to test financial and banking systems focused on accounting and general ledger modules.
  • Develop and execute test plans covering functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
  • Collaborate with BAs, developers, and stakeholders to validate business requirements and workflows.
  • Manage defect lifecycle, prioritize bug fixes, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Mentor QA testers and coordinate UAT with business users for smooth production rollouts.
Requirements
  • 1+ Year' QA experience in banking/financial applications, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
  • Strong domain knowledge of general ledger, accounting principles, and financial processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP FI/CO, Oracle Financials) a plus.
  • Proficient in manual and automated testing using tools like JIRA, Selenium, HP ALM.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
