Overview

The Power BI Developer is responsible for designing and delivering accurate, insightful, and visually engaging reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making. The role involves seamless integration of multiple data sources (SAP, Excel, SharePoint) and development of cross-departmental reports tailored to diverse business needs. Skilled in creating strong data models, clear visualizations, and paginated reports using SSRS and Power BI, the developer ensures data is accessible, reliable, and actionable. This position requires effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders, proactive management of requirements, and clear communication to ensure timely, high-quality report deployment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop mid- to advanced-level Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights.
  • Integrate and manage data from multiple sources including SAP, Excel, SharePoint, and other business systems.
  • Design and deliver cross-departmental reports for finance, sales, HR, supply chain, and customer data.
  • Create and maintain paginated reports using SSRS and Power BI to meet business requirements.
  • Build robust data models and clear visualizations with a strong analytical approach.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify needs, resolve challenges, and implement solutions.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through proactive communication, attention to detail, and timely delivery.
