Meet the team:

Join our vibrant team as a Process Improvement Specialist and be at the forefront of driving operational excellence within Dexcom. This role plays a crucial part in leading and supporting end-to-end process improvement initiatives, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and compliance across our operations.

Where you come in:

  • Lead in planning, organizing, and executing process and organizational improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement solutions to drive operational efficiency.
  • Provide consultation and support to Operation Leaders, guiding them in meeting facilitation, problem-solving, and escalation processes.
  • Contribute to the design and development of new or improved processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Document process maps, overviews, and flows, and prepare supporting deliverables such as documents and presentations.
  • Promote process improvement initiatives within Dexcom through various communication channels and events.

What makes you successful:

  • Solid understanding of process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma, and experience with tools like COPC.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proven track record in driving process improvements and achieving tangible results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A self-starter mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing opportunities for improvement.
  • Previous experience in the medical device industry or a related field and training as a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
