General ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting and Analysis
  1. Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  2. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance to support decision-making.
Financial Compliance and Audit
  1. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal financial policies.
  2. Assist in preparing for audits and provide necessary documentation and support to auditors.
Financial Operations Support
  1. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
  2. Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives to support the overall goals of the finance department and the company.
Bookkeeping
  1. Recording of company transactions.
  2. Oversee weekly transaction cycles.
Month-End Close
  1. Help in performing month-end closing procedures in accordance with the month-end close checklist.
  2. Maintain monthly schedules, disposition discrepancies, and/or balances and record necessary adjusting entries.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field, with a demonstrated understanding of basic accounting principles. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  2. 1-2 years of relevant experience in a startup or fast-paced environment within the payments, fintech, or financial services sectors.
  3. Familiarity with or a willingness to learn accounting software such as Oracle NetSuite, or similar software like SAP, QuickBooks, or Xero, along with knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Demonstrated leadership experience in academic or extracurricular organizations is a plus.
  7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
