Overview

Assistant Project Manager role at Bill Gosling Outsourcing. Manages small to medium projects independently, collaborating with Senior Project Managers on large-scale initiatives. Responsible for defining and managing project scope, goals, schedules, and costs, coordinating tasks related to schedule and risk management, and maintaining project documentation and financial queries. Able to lead projects independently, manage stakeholders (clients and internal executives) to ensure successful outcomes within deadlines.

What You'll Do
  • Work with the Project Manager in defining and managing initial scope and changes to project scope, goals, schedule, and/or costs.
  • Independently execute, organize, communicate, schedule, measure, and motivate project team members to ensure successful completion of projects.
  • Lead a maximum of five projects simultaneously, managing various phases of implementation; provide backup support for other projects as needed.
  • Coordinate and facilitate communication among applicable departments to ensure timely achievement of milestones and deadlines.
  • Manage ongoing communications with internal clients, external clients, and prospective clients to ensure departments meet or exceed expectations.
  • Create and maintain in-depth reporting and statistical analyses for trending and reporting purposes.
  • Conduct project evaluations and results management, including risk management, business analysis, and lessons learned.
  • Maintain and enhance project management systems to ensure accurate records and streamlined processes.
  • Propose and implement enhanced methods or new processes to improve services to clients.
  • Champion company core values and actively engage in company programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • College Diploma or equivalent in the Project Management field (asset)
Experience
  • Minimum six months\' experience in a Team Leader role within the Company, or equivalent outside of the Company prior project management experience.
  • Experience in more than one department or branch within the Company.
  • Previous sales or technical writing experience and facilitation experience would be an asset.
  • Technical project management experience or Workday experience would be an advantage.
