The Sr Email Marketing Strategist Strategist exists to develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies tailored to client needs, ensuring a positive client experience and maximizing campaign performance. This role focuses on client-facing interactions, strategic planning, and ongoing optimization to drive business growth.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Strategy Development: Create and implement effective marketing strategies that meet client needs.
- Account Management: Manage retention marketing programs for multiple brands, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Client Understanding: Demonstrate a deep understanding of client business needs and translate them into marketing strategies.
- Performance Tracking: Analyze and track data to maximize the performance of email and other retention marketing campaigns.
- Client Communication: Communicate marketing insights and reports on performance, and plan for further development.
- Team Alignment: Ensure the Activations team has clear instructions and is aligned with the overall strategy.
- Service Expansion: Successfully upsell and cross-sell services, increasing revenue and client engagement.
- Thought Leadership: Provide valuable industry insights to the marketing team to enhance the company's reputation as an industry leader.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 7 - 10 years of experience in digital marketing, client strategy, or account management, preferably in an agency or eCommerce environment.
- Strong understanding of retention marketing, including email, SMS, and CRM strategies.
- Proven ability to develop data-driven marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance.
- Proven experience in people management and leadership, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and develop team members.
- Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in performance tracking and reporting.
- Ability to communicate complex marketing insights in a clear and actionable manner.
- Experience in upselling and cross-selling services to drive revenue growth.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure alignment on strategy execution.
