We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team at CBRE GWS IFM PHILS. CORP. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery of our real estate and property development projects, including construction management, CAPEX, space planning, and workplace optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Construction Management:

    • Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

    • Participate in the development and implementation of project plans, schedules, and budgets.

    • Liaise with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to address queries and resolve issues.

    • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications.

  2. CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) Management:

    • Assist in the procurement of materials, services, and equipment for projects.

    • Manage and track project expenses, including invoices, payments, and receipts.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for CAPEX management.

  3. Space Planning:

    • Assist in the development of space planning strategies and recommendations for clients.

    • Collaborate with the design team to create efficient and effective space layouts.

    • Conduct space audits and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.

  4. Workplace Optimization:

    • Assist in the development of workplace optimization strategies and recommendations for clients.

    • Collaborate with the facilities team to implement workplace optimization solutions.

    • Conduct workplace audits and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.

  5. General Project Support:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.

    • Support the Project Manager in preparing and presenting project updates and presentations.

    • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Property Development, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar Assistant Project Manager or Project Coordinator role, preferably in the real estate or property development industry.

  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.

  • Proficient in MS Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

  • Ability to work well in a team, as well as independently, and to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
