Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to support our finance team in performing daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will assist in bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliations, and general administrative duties, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or entry-level candidates looking to grow their accounting career in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Perform basic bookkeeping and data entry tasks

Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger (e.g., assets, liabilities, expenses)

Reconcile bank statements with internal records

Assist in preparing expense reports, monthly management reports, and schedules

Generate routine financial reports

Review accounts payable and receivable transactions

Support the Accounting Manager in improving financial processes

Ensure accuracy in financial data and reports

Calculate monthly expense accruals and prepare journal entries

Research and resolve accounting issues as they arise

Conduct general office duties including filing, photocopying, and other admin tasks

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance Management, Accounting Technology, or equivalent

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

With or without prior accounting experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Highly detail-oriented and accurate

Capable of analyzing financial data and reports

Self-motivated, independent, and proactive

Good time management and organizational skills

Eagerness to learn and open to training

Trustworthy and capable of handling confidential information

Must reside in Manila or be willing to be assigned to the area

Can start immediately
