Job Overview:

The Junior Training Officer focuses on delivering basic sales and product training for internal and external customers. The role involves more facilitation, learner interaction, and responsibility in ensuring effective knowledge transfer. It is an entry-level role for professional trainers on the facilitation track.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct interviews with applicants for L1-L3 positions.

  • Coordinate the reservation and allocation of training resources to ensure smooth onboarding and the deployment of new hires.

  • Assist in the development of activities and training materials, from workbooks, manuals to visuals.

  • Collaborate with Training Group members in improving training materials and visuals, and session delivery.

  • Remain informed and updated of all processes and policies.

  • Assist in keeping the training curriculum and materials updated.

  • Facilitate and implement basic training and development programs for new hires and existing salespeople, to ensure excellent performance.

  • Monitor and evaluate post training performance of trained employees.

  • In-charge of preparing timely progress reports of trainees and providing feedback and endorsement to team managers.

  • Coordinate with other departments for requirements and other support as necessary.

  • Co-facilitate training programs with external customers.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A graduate of any 4-year course.

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in training or sales-related functions (preferably in the FMCG industry or related).

  • Experience in facilitation or coaching is an advantage.

  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups and facilitating small sessions with internal and external customers.

  • Passionate about training and helping others improve.

  • Greater independence in delivering training programs.

  • Proficient in MS Office.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across teams.

  • Willingness to travel to different office locations if needed.

  • Tech-savvy; familiarity with LMS platforms and digital learning tools is an advantage.

  • Based in Metro Manila.

  • Work Location is the Suy Sing Head office.
