Role Overview

The AVP of Sales and Operations will be responsible for the end-to-end performance and strategic growth of the consumer electronics retail channel. This includes overseeing store operations, achieving sales targets, elevating customer experience, and ensuring adherence to retail standards. The role will lead cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class retail performance, drive profitability, and maintain the company's market leadership in the tech retail space.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Sales Management

  • Develop and execute annual and quarterly sales plans to achieve revenue and profit targets.

  • Monitor sell-through performance, category mix, and attach rates of extended warranties and accessories.

  • Drive focus on high-value product categories aligned with key business priorities.

2. Retail Operations Oversight

  • Ensure operational excellence across all retail locations.

  • Oversee in-store execution of visual merchandising and customer experience flow.

  • Manage store productivity metrics such as foot traffic conversion, average basket size, and units per transaction.

  • Ensure all stores meet brand and operational compliance standards.

3. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing field and headquarters team, including Area and Store Managers.

  • Collaborate with HR on recruitment, performance management, and succession planning.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer-centricity.

4. Brand & Partner Collaboration

  • Act as the key liaison with brand partners for business reviews, marketing alignment, and compliance.

  • Oversee the execution of co-branded campaigns, product launches, and customer engagement programs.

  • Work closely with Marketing to strengthen the brand's visibility and position as a leading tech retail destination.

5. Financial Performance

  • Own store-level P&L responsibilities for the retail business.

  • Monitor and improve gross margin, operational expenses, and ROI of trade and marketing investments.

  • Track the performance of consumer financing and trade-in programs to drive incremental revenue.
