I. JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Operations Control Manager:

  1. is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting of financial and operational data to support business decision-making

  2. develops and maintains financial reports, dashboards, and analytics tools to monitor business performance

  3. ensures proper consolidation and validation of financial data from different departments to provide reliable insights for management

  4. works closely with Operations, Accounting, Controls and Senior Management to provide data-driven recommendations

  5. assists the AVP - Finance & Controllership in developing and implementing new control standards, policies and procedures across all stores

II. JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Monitor the performance of Operations Planning & Control (OPC) in each store to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures

  2. Ensure that internal controls are being effectively implemented and maintained by OPC

  3. Review operational processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement

  4. Recommend updates and improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with Store Operations and OPC to implement approved changes

  5. Identify and document any exceptions or deviations from standard operating procedures

  6. Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, exceptions, and recommended corrective measures for review by the AVP Controlle

  7. Serve as a liaison between store OPC and the AVP Controller, ensuring clear and consistent communication

  8. Coordinate with store management to address any operational issues that arise

  9. Evaluate risks associated with operational processes and recommend measure to mitigate those risks

  10. Assist the AVP Controller in developing new policies and procedures

  11. Ensure that new policies and procedures are cascaded and effectively implemented across all stores

III. JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit or related field

  2. 5+ years experience in operations control, audit or related field, preferably in retail or supermarket industry

  3. With strong background in internal control systems and audit processes

  4. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  5. Has the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while delivering accurate and insightful control reports

  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
