ABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn Administrative Assistant with an interest in bookkeeping to work with our client based in Melbourne, Australia – a thriving kids' modeling agency. You'll be responsible for a blend of administrative and financial tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of both the office and the financial backbone of the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative:
- Managing calendars, making appointments, and prioritizing follow-up calls with clients.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal teams and external clients.
- Handling client calls, responding to emails.
- Assisting in social media tasks and online marketing (as required).
- Other ad-hoc tasks (as required).
Bookkeeping:
- Data entry of accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconciling bank statements.
- Generating basic financial reports.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in a bookkeeping software program (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Ability to work independently and take initiative while also being a team player.
- Charismatic and comfortable working with kids (a plus).
- Experience working in the modeling industry or a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with social media management tools.
