ROLE PURPOSE:

Our Pharmacy Manager is responsible for planning, organizing & leading the pharmacy team/s to achieve the highest level of Online & Offline (O+O) customer service, retail sales productivity, retail process, and good pharmacy practice to deliver sustainable sales, higher profitability targets, and compliant pharmacy operations. He/She is also responsible for championing the implementation and evaluation of all health categories/brand building initiatives and pharmacy workforce programs.

This role focuses on:

  1. Driving, monitoring, and reviewing sales performance and recommending action plans to deliver sales budget and store profitability.
  2. Ensuring consistency in execution of Brand of Service Standards when dealing with customers (internal or external) and compliance with all regulatory requirements and acting as pharmacist-in-charge/point of contact for regulatory matters.
  3. Performing necessary functions for all digitally enabled services.
  4. Managing ROS compliance (inventory & till) to work on shrinkage below tolerance level.
  5. Monitoring store's controllable expenses and recommending cost efficiency measures to increase productivity & profitability.
  6. Adhering to health protocols and implementing crisis management plans to mitigate risks to provide employees and customers with a safe and clean store environment.
  7. Building a network as a liaison to lessors and local partners in the professional association and pharmacy schools for better communication and coordination needed to support the business and future workforce requirements.
  8. Sustaining team engagement and performance through coaching, counseling, motivating, and disciplining employees.

Success will depend on:

  1. Ability to demonstrate analytical skills, monitor and evaluate implementation of online and offline initiatives, propose solutions, and track progress to improve sales & profitability.
  2. Ability to manage and monitor brand of service, handle and resolve online & offline customer feedback with a sense of urgency and know how to escalate complex customer complaints.
  3. Ability to practice ethical and legal standards of the profession.
  4. Ability to analyze store profitability and implement cost optimization measures to maximize productivity.
  5. Ability to validate gaps, monitor compliance, & coach on retail operating standards to work towards improving efficiency.
  6. Ability to benchmark retail practices and build relationships with mall partners, affiliates, and professional organizations/partner schools.
  7. Ability to delegate tasks, train and coach selling techniques/functional skills, and engage the team to maximize productivity & sustain team motivation.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Pharmacy/Pharmacology, or equivalent.
  2. At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  3. Preferably Assistant Manager/Managers specializing in Healthcare - Pharmacy, Sales - Retail/General, or equivalent.
  4. 1 Full-Time position(s) available.
  5. Candidate MUST BE A LICENSED PHARMACIST.
  6. Required skills: Sales management, Sales delivery, customer service delivery, retail process management, resource and cost management, Good Pharmacy Practice.
  7. Must be willing to be assigned at WATSONS - City of Manila.
