Role description:

Carry out a range of project activities to support the development and implementation of engineering solutions for Arcadis regional offices. Typically assigned to support smaller less complex projects or elements of larger less complex projects. Would not ordinarily act in a Task Management role

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Have developed a deeper understanding of the services delivered by
    Arcadis and the industry sector
  • Possess an understanding of the contribution that Arcadis GEC
    teams make in the overall delivery of tasks and the projects within
    Arcadis
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have a knowledge of Arcadis management system requirements to
    support delivery of design and engineering projects
  • Have a knowledge of safe design processes which consider safety
    during construction, operation and decomissioning through the use
    of hazard identification and risk assessment during design
    development
  • Have a knowledge of Arcadis Health and Safety regulations and
    guidelines
  • Know how to apply standard engineering practices, techniques and
    procedures
  • Have advanced research, data gathering and analysis skills
  • Have advanced proficiency with relevant desktop applications
    including the ability to use a range of computer software as a tool for
    solving basic engineering problems and presenting results
  • Possess excellent time management skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent and formally licensed
    to act as a professional engineer (if required in their Arcadis GEC
    country)
  • Possess 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience
