Role Overview:

The Supply Management Engineer is responsible for overseeing the activities in relation to the supply & pressure of the assigned Business Area, while ensuring regulatory compliance to service level. This role goes beyond technical expertise, as it requires an effective leader & critical thinker who can foster a collaborative environment in delivering the following:


• Coordinates with the Business Area regarding water supply requirements, hydraulic analysis simulations, network adjustments, & water quality concerns, among others.


• Monitors compliance of network pressure to regulatory standards


• Analysis of flow, pressure, and head loss in pipelines


• Proactively leads the investigation and resolution of system abnormalities that may cause service level deterioration


• Proposes water distribution projects related to improvement water supply availability, and upgrading of existing network assets and facilities in preparation for projected expansion areas


• Proposes the optimization of pumping station & booster operations


• Contributes to NRW reduction by implementing pressure management activities, conducting per-segment water audit, & proposing strategic locations of gauging points to effectively monitor supply


• Assists the operations group in monitoring of water quality to ensure compliance to PNSDW standards


• Represents the section to internal & external customers as situations may require

The Ideal Talent Profile: A licensed engineer, preferably in, but not limited to, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Sanitary/Environmental Engineering is ideal for the role. The talent must excel in optimization and problem-solving, and should possess strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Proficiency in MS Office and data analytics tools is also a requirement. They must have excellent coordination capabilities and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal talent is proactive, goal-oriented, flexible, results-driven, and must thrive under pressure.
