Job Description:

We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Operations to join our Insurance Operations Team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to manage the team's day-to-day operations, ensuring that SLAs are met, as well as guiding fellow leaders in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage team leaders and serve as a liaison for the Operations Manager

  • Review team performance and provide corrective action plan/s – perform 1:1 coaching, provide support, motivation and development of staff

  • Assist immediate supervisor in coordinating team resources, monitoring team activities, and preparing reports

  • Assist in conducting a regular training needs analysis for personal and professional development of the staff

Qualifications:

  • At least three (3) years of senior team leader background in a BPO or Shared Service company, with experience in handling peers/other team leaders

  • Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation)

  • Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves:

    • Experience in handling a high volume, healthcare and/or financial account in a BPO or shared services company

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
