About the role

Here in Aura Southprime Developers, Inc., a Purchasing Officer serves as the central link between project needs and supply sources, ensuring that materials, equipment, and services are procured on time, within budget, and with the right quality. Their role is deeply rooted in cost efficiency, supplier management, and operational continuity, which are critical to the success of real estate development projects.

What you'll do

1. Manages day-to-day purchasing operations of the area handled.

2. Troubleshoots issues and concerns. If required, escalates issues to Purchasing Manager and Head.

3. Recommends supplier based on the Canvass Sheet sent by the Purchasing Specialist.

4. Prepares and processes Purchase Orders (PO) for all purchase requests in the assigned area.

5. For advance or safety stock purchases, receives and validate the Advance Purchase Request (APR) Form from Purchasing Manager. 6. Prepares, submits and monitors Request for Payments (RFP) for all purchases in the assigned area.

7. Monitors and updates the status of all Purchase Orders (PO) and Purchase Requests in the Purchasing Fulfilment Database.

8. Monitors the schedule of deliveries and coordinates with the suppliers to ensure deliveries are made on time.

9. Ensures that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.

10. Ensures the Supplier Database and Materials Catalogue are up to date.

11. Ensures proper and complete filing of purchasing records and other related documentation; both hard and soft copies.

12. Trains new employees on the purchasing process, policy and tools.

13. Prepares and sends Purchasing Status Report to the Purchasing Manager (i.e. Pending PRF, Payment Status, Pending PO)

14. Approves and sign Leave Requests of the Purchasing staff in the assigned area.

15. Attend team meetings, area MANCOM meetings, Process Calibration, and other meetings as needed

What we're looking for

  • Graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management or any related field

  • With at least four (4) years of related working experience

  • Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices

  • Knowledgeable with construction materials and material lead times

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle on-site challenges independently

  • Excellent communication and negotation skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

  • Integrity and ethical decision-making, especially in vendor selection and financial dealings

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.

  • Willing to start as soon as possible
