Accounts Payable Associate | Work from HomeResponsibilities
  • Review overhead invoices and post in Intacct
  • Post AMEX transactions in Intacct
  • Reach out to card holders for unreceived receipts for AMEX purchases
  • Ensure correct mode of payment is used for outgoing payments
  • Ensure signed contracts and W-9 are in place for outgoing payments
  • Apply payments against invoices in Intacct
  • Monitor multiple banks and accounts for incoming transactions
  • Calculate and confirm payments due to experts based on cash received
  • Input payment info on the daily cash log
Competencies
  • Requires strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience processing vendor invoices and employee expense reports
  • Maintenance of accurate records of transactions

  • Should possess strong, intuitive, and number-focused skillset with sharp critical thinking skills
  • Excels in the ability to comprehend and produce accurate analytical data
  • Requires excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Capable of working effectively under pressure while handling heavy workloads, multiple simultaneous projects, and time sensitive work constraints in a deadline driven environment
  • Ability to take initiative to move projects forward and identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Must be a self-starter, well-organized, extremely detail-oriented and have the ability to work closely with staff members at all levels of the organization in a cooperative, team-oriented manner
  • Demonstrates high level of positive energy and drive
  • Reliable and consistent attendance and punctuality are critical for this position
Education & Technical Requirements
  • Minimum of AA degree in accounting or relevant experience required
  • Minimum of three (3) or more years of business office accounting experience
  • Law/consulting firm accounting administration a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) required
  • Bill.com or equivalent AP automation software experience a plus
  • Experience with expenses software such as Nexonia or Concur
