About Your New Role

As a Managed Services Product Manager (or Technical Product Manager), you will oversee the development, delivery, and performance of non-network managed services leveraging a diverse vendor portfolio. This includes advanced technical solutions across network, security, cloud platforms, hardware, and distributor relationships. The role will work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, sales, and vendors to ensure alignment with customer needs and company strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with key vendors (e.g., Fortinet, AWS, Azure, Dell, Meraki, Poly) and distributors (e.g., Ingram Micro, Arrow) to drive service growth, procurement efficiency, and training enablement.
  • Own the full product lifecycle for managed services across SD-WAN, SASE, networking, UCaaS, cloud, IoT, and hardware — from roadmap development to launch, optimization, and catalog management.
  • Design and integrate scalable, vendor-aligned services by collaborating with engineering, solution architects, and support teams to create frameworks, SOPs, and monitoring strategies.
  • Partner with Finance and Procurement on pricing models, budgeting, and cost optimization, ensuring services remain competitive and profitable.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach by analyzing feedback, improving reliability and security standards, and serving as an escalation point for critical vendor-related issues.
  • Oversee risk management and compliance, mitigating technology, supply chain, and regulatory risks while ensuring adherence to audit standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and internal teams on go-to-market strategies, sourcing, inventory planning, and enablement programs.
  • Track performance through vendor scorecards, KPI reporting, and QBRs — providing leadership with insights on service evolution, opportunities, and risks.
What You'll Need For Success
  • Strong experience managing vendor and distributor relationships (e.g., Fortinet, AWS, Azure, Ingram Micro).
  • Proven ability to negotiate contracts, SLAs, and pricing to drive business value.
  • Background in product lifecycle management, especially across networking, cloud, UCaaS, and IoT solutions.
  • Skills in service design, operational integration, and creating scalable frameworks.
  • Financial acumen in pricing models, budgeting, and cost optimization.
  • Customer-first mindset with experience improving service quality and handling escalations.
  • Knowledge of compliance, risk management, and vendor security assessments.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Support.
  • Experience tracking KPIs, producing reports, and leading vendor QBRs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
