Job Summary

The job requires solid planning skills for all support flow needs that will propel the team to continuously meet its deadlines and deliver quality technical substructure and assistance.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and ensure timely release of designs & costs
  • Oversee network management
  • Provide final validation of site visit technical assessments, surveys, and other technical studies as needed
  • Ensure timely application and releases of construction-related permits.
  • Spearhead the team towards the conception and implementation of scope-related improvements (tech-enabled, process, etc.)
Specific Duties
  • In-House Design
    1. Monitor acquisition targets that will feed into the design pipeline.
    2. Oversee that designs are compliant to all related codes and legal ordinances.
    3. Provide, endorse, implement any support necessary to ensure the timely delivery of signed & sealed plans
    4. Ensure quarterly updates on construction material and labor costs.
    5. Audit existing designs towards a more cost-efficient design.
  • Network Management
    1. Develop a framework to efficiently and effectively accredit, engage, and retain contractors, designers, surveyors, technical consultants, etc. as part of the Lhoopa network.
    2. Suggest & implement approved improvements.
  • Pre-Construction
    1. Provide final validation on site visit reports.
    2. Proper tagging of problematic lots based on surveys and technical studies.
    3. Timely releases of pre-construction related technical due diligence required.
  • Permits & Licenses
    1. Ensure proper tracking of permit applications and releases
    2. Assist in coordination with other departments or external parties to resolve any concerns in securing required construction permits.
Requirements
  • Graduate studies in Engineering related fields; licensed, preferred
  • With at least 8-10 years experience in Construction and Engineering (preferably from a real estate development company)
  • At least 3 years experience in managing a team and leading it to success
  • Proficiency in planning and development of projects
  • Proficiency in making operational and process decisions
  • Able to solve problems quickly and creatively
  • Able to organize and delegate assignments to team members, identifying each team member's strengths and using these to produce results
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
