We are hiring a legal specialist to join our team in Mandaluyong:

Qualifications:

  • Experience of at least 2 years in a Legal Department.

  • Experience handling government bids (preferably as a bidder) is preferred.

  • Knowledgeable in RA 9184

  • With at least two (2) years in law school or Paralegal training equivalent

  • Graduate of Legal Management/ Political Science

Primary Job Functions:

  • Lead the Company in the preparation of bid submittals to government offices and enterprises, especially on matters of eligibility and documentation;

  • Drafting/reviewing/proofreading of documents such as requests, correspondence, simple pleadings, secretary's certificate, board resolution, lease agreements, legal documents required for biddings, and the like;

  • Liaise with different departments of the company as well as different government agencies;

  • Handle the Bid Audit of the Company;

Secondary Job Functions:

  • Handles preparation and filing of government compliances such as General Information Sheet, Audited Financial Statement, and the like;

  • Assist in Labor Relations through the preparation/drafting of Demand Letters and other related documents pertaining to separated employees;

  • Assist in labor relations through the preparation/drafting of Notices to Explain and/or Decision, and other related documents related to administrative cases

  • Handles special projects, including but not limited to, preparation, analysis, and/or coordination of reports/cases or any research materials with which the Company may have special/urgent concerns which require attention;

  • Performs other administrative functions, such as preparation of external communications related to the functions of his office, and other tasks as may be designated by the Legal Head and/or Senior Legal Officers

Required Competencies:

  • Has keen attention to details;

  • Has the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, or with a Team;

  • Superior communication skills, both orally and in writing;

  • Can work under pressure;

  • Ability to manage time wisely;

  • Resourceful;

  • Knows how to deal with people especially with those in the government;

  • Experience in handling government bids (preferably as a bidder)

  • Knowledgeable of RA 9184 and other procurement laws.

  • Knowledge in contract drafting, labor relations, and SEC related matters

  • Must be willing to work onsite from Monday to Friday
