The Compliance Monitoring Officer is responsible for ensuring that the bank is in compliance with its regulatory and legal requirements as well as internal policies and by laws. The CMO shall be responsible for developing regulatory related training materials to ensure understanding of regulatory requirements. He/She shall assist the Monitoring Unit Head in the implementation and administration of compliance monitoring (testing) to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and obligations across the bank. He/She shall supervise the work and performance of the Monitoring and AML Compliance Associate in their day-to-day and special functions and shall also report directly to the Monitoring Unit Head.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • General Compliance Functions

  • Compliance Monitoring

  • Liaison to the Internal Audit

  • Talent Management

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor/College degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent

  • With at least 1-2 years' experience in auditing, compliance, or risk management functions in other financial institutions is an advantage

  • Well-versed with banking laws as well as BSP regulations

  • With high sense of integrity, honesty and mastery of the unit's functions

  • Good team player

  • Willing to travel
