The Operation & Maintenance Engineer is responsible for managing and supervising the day-to-day operations of renewable energy plants, ensuring maximum performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. This role involves conducting preventive and corrective maintenance, monitoring plant systems, and troubleshooting technical issues to minimize downtime and optimize energy output. The O&M Engineer will also oversee contractors, coordinate maintenance schedules, and maintain accurate documentation of plant performance and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operation of renewable energy facilities to ensure safe and efficient performance.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
  • Monitor plant performance through monitoring tools, analyze data to identify issues and improve efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical faults to minimize plant downtime.
  • Prepare and implement maintenance schedules and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and equipment suppliers for maintenance and repair works.
  • Maintain accurate records of operational data, inspections, maintenance logs, and incident reports.
  • Provide technical support for system upgrades, retrofits, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Support reporting requirements on plant availability, performance, and maintenance activities.
