What is the job?
The Accounting Associate 2 is responsible for managing accounts payable processes, maintaining accurate payables records, and supporting month-end close activities. The role manages purchase orders, invoices, payments, and reconciliations while ensuring compliance with standards and partnering with teams and vendors to resolve inquiries and improve processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, including vendor bills, POs, credit cards, and payments.

  • Maintain accurate payables registers, live payment proposals, and ensure proper VAT recording.

  • Reconcile accounts payable accounts and address discrepancies during month-end close.

  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, providing timely support on inquiries.

  • Collaborate with purchasing heads to uphold proper payment practices.

  • Drive efficiency by identifying process improvements and recommending solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification a plus.

  • 3–4 years of accounting experience with accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

  • Skilled in ERP systems, with NetSuite and U.S. accounting experience preferred; UK experience a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and U.S. GAAP.

  • Detail-oriented with organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills in deadline-driven environments.

  • Clear written and verbal English communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
