This position is responsible for providing technical and administrative support to all members of the legal team. Key responsibilities include monitoring and updating legal developments, conducting research, preparing reports, and managing permits, licenses, and authorizations.

Specific duties include:

  1. Following up, monitoring, and updating the status of permits, licenses, authorizations, and legal cases involving AP and its Business Units/Divisions.
  2. Implementing and updating compliance and legal audit checklists.
  3. Submitting documentary requirements to government agencies and assisting in compliance efforts.
  4. Conducting legal research on various cases and issues.
  5. Updating project monitoring databases and assisting in preparing reports and presentations.
  6. Collecting data and reports to ensure case resolution.
  7. Safekeeping legal documents and contracts.
  8. Drafting agreements, updating contracts, and preparing memos.
  9. Assisting external legal counsels with case preparations and liaising with witnesses and agencies.
  10. Building relationships with government agencies concerning permits and licenses.
  11. Updating case summaries and reports for the legal team.
  12. Coordinating with external counsels, business units, courts, and quasi-judicial agencies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in Word processing.
  • Knowledge of office practices, legal procedures, and legal research.
  • Ability to perform routine and complex legal research and administrative work accurately.
  • Effective relationship-building skills within the organization.
  • Knowledge of substantive laws and procedures, especially in the energy sector.
