Overview

Staff4Me is looking for an accomplished Product Owner to join our talented team. In this role, you will act as the liaison between stakeholders and our development teams, ensuring that the right features are delivered in a timely and efficient manner. You will have a critical role in enhancing our products, prioritizing features based on customer feedback and strategic goals, while ensuring alignment with our company vision.

Responsibilities
  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy to align stakeholders, development teams, and other cross-functional partners
  • Create and manage the product backlog, prioritizing user stories, and clearly defining acceptance criteria
  • Lead sprint planning and participate in daily stand-ups, ensuring that the team is focused on delivering high-quality results
  • Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders, translating them into functional specifications for the development team
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure user-centric product development
  • Review and accept completed work during sprint reviews, providing constructive feedback to the team
  • Continuously engage with customers and stakeholders to validate product features and identify areas for improvement
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform product enhancements and innovation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) are a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience in product ownership or related roles, preferably in an agile environment
  • Proven experience in managing product backlogs and defining user stories
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to balance stakeholder needs with technical constraints and market demand
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) and familiarity with UX/UI best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a technology or SaaS company
  • Familiarity with customer feedback gathering tools and product analytics
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of product-market fit
