Market Research Project Executive - Manila, Philippines

RONIN International is a market research agency focussed on data collection and analysis. Our projects are conducted online and by phone and are with business, opinion leader and healthcare professionals for clients that include major research agencies, consultancies and corporations. Our work is international and covers multiple countries and regions.

Our project management team is central to our success in delivering challenging projects and is located across UK, Germany, Portugal and most recently in Makati, Philippines. We are now looking to grow our Makati based team.

Our projects team at RONIN are hands-on, versatile individuals who operate as the single point of contact between our clients' worldwide research projects and RONIN's internal operational teams.

Our Fieldwork Managers ensure that our projects exceed clients' expectations and result in fruitful and ongoing partnerships. Our approach is based on having resourceful, independent, and proactive team members, who can quickly grasp company processes and gain a strong understanding of the market research industry. Market research can be a fast-paced environment that goes from large scale straightforward studies to highly specialised projects; interpersonal & organisational skills are essential to adapt to daily challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding and communication of project budgets and specifications;
  • Attending client and internal meetings. Leading project success to ensure quality, timing and budget requirements are exceeded;
  • Developing and reviewing questionnaires for both quantitative and qualitative projects;
  • Reviewing and testing programmed questionnaires for best practice data collection, working with our internal scripting, translation, testing and data processing departments;
  • Conducting briefings with internal fieldwork teams and external partners;
  • Managing the data collection process and communicating with clients regularly;
  • Tracking project profitability;
  • Confident and timely client management;
  • Effective reporting on project progress;
  • Recognising potential barriers and challenges, before or during projects, and offering solutions;
  • Meeting all market research quality standards and regulations;
  • Accurate administration support to close projects and capture learnings.

Key Skills

  • Some experience (likely 1-2 years) in, specifically, market research project or fieldwork management or in a market research agency role where project management is the next career step.
  • Flexible, organised approach with strong multitasking, time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the aptitude to learn how to effectively manage clients.
  • Tenacious personality with an eye for detail and ability to problem solve using own initiative.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office including Excel.
  • Understanding of market research data collection processes, ideally for both Quant & Qual work.
  • Knowledge of other languages and cultures advantageous, we conduct global research.
  • Previous experience of working on business and/or international market research projects is an advantage.
  • Excellent English language skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lead projects to success and care about your work, colleagues and clients.

Location

This is an office-based position located in our prestigious new offices in the Makati District of Manila, Philippines. You will be joining a small team, already in place and a wider group of colleagues based around the world.
