Job DescriptionDescription

The main responsibilities of a ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIST include:

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with leadership to create long-term organizational development plans that align with the company's mission, vision, and objectives.
  • Change Management: Lead or support large-scale change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing resistance by engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Leadership Development: Design and implement leadership programs to equip leaders with the skills needed to drive organizational success.
  • Culture Transformation: Assess and refine the organization's culture to support innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Performance Management: Develop systems that measure and improve employee performance and engagement.
  • Organizational Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of organizational health, including structure, processes, and workforce dynamics, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Talent Management: Partner with HR to ensure talent strategies align with organizational goals, including succession planning, employee engagement, and career development.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of OD initiatives and make data-driven recommendations. Provide regular reports on OD initiatives and their impact on company performance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership and departmental managers to ensure OD programs align with organizational objectives. Provide consultation and guidance on organizational design, team dynamics, and workforce planning.
  • Educational Trends & Best Practices: Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in organizational development. Contribute insights that enhance the organization's strategies and methodologies.

Requirements

To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • At least three to five years of relevant experience in organizational development or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of organizational culture and behavior, performance improvement methodologies, and employee engagement.
  • Proficiency in data analysis with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Strategic and charismatic, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse individuals.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and proactive.
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize multiple functions and tasks effectively.
  • Adaptability to a rapidly changing work environment with shifting priorities.
  • Proven track record of success in OD initiatives.

It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking expertise.
  • Familiarity with organizational diagnostic tools and assessment frameworks (e.g., RCA, SWOT Analysis, SOAR Analysis).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, Forms) and tools for OD engagement and data reporting.
  • Experience in facilitating brainstorming sessions, group discussions, and presentations.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Experience using design tools for infographics and publication materials (e.g., Canva).
