
Area Manager

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Area Manager to oversee operations, performance, and customer experience across six existing retail stores, with a view to scaling for future store openings. This role is critical in upholding the brand's standard of excellence in luxury retail while identifying opportunities to elevate team performance, optimize store systems, and improve overall sales efficiency.
The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking leader who thrives in dynamic environments, understands luxury consumer behavior, and can coach store teams to deliver world-class client experiences consistently.
Key Responsibilities:1. Store Operations & Sales PerformanceOversee the daily operations of 6 retail stores, ensuring adherence to brand standards and operational excellence.
Set, monitor, and analyze store sales targets and KPIs, developing actionable strategies to drive performance.
Identify inefficiencies in operational processes and implement system improvements that streamline workflows and boost productivity.
Lead consistent performance reviews and weekly sales reporting across stores.
Coach and mentor Store Managers to improve team engagement, sales behavior, and clienteling techniques.
Assess associate performance regularly, identify training needs, and work with HR to create development plans.
Ensure all teams deliver a luxury-level client experience that reflects the brand's values.
Facilitate communication between head office and retail staff to ensure alignment across all levels.
Monitor client feedback to evaluate service quality and implement improvements.
Guide store teams in creating memorable in-store experiences that drive customer loyalty.
Ensure all visual merchandising and store environments are aligned with the brand's image and seasonal guidelines.
Collaborate with leadership on new store rollouts, including staffing transitions, operational setup, and ensuring consistency in execution across branches.
Provide on-the-ground insights into market behavior, store performance, and operational challenges that can inform future expansion decisions.
While direct involvement in expansion planning is not currently required, the Area Manager may be invited to contribute operational insights or retail performance data to support decision-making for potential new locations.
Oversee stock health across stores and collaborate with operations for effective inventory allocation and control.
Enforce compliance with inventory protocols and manage efforts to reduce shrinkage.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years in multi-store management within the retail sector; luxury retail experience is highly preferred.
Proven ability to lead high-performing teams, improve store sales, and maintain luxury service standards.
Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel regularly between store locations.
