Job Summary:

Lead and inspire a creative team, guiding the design process from concept to execution. Your responsibilities encompass ensuring brand consistency, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering innovative retail design solutions. Additionally, you will assist the Retail Design Manager in meeting project requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist the Retail Design Manager with all project requirements.
  • Conduct design briefings for upcoming, renovating, and relocating tenants to guide designers/tenants in developing cutting-edge and high-end store designs.
  • Stay updated on the latest retail design trends through regular benchmarking.
  • Have knowledge of Rockwell's design criteria for malls, Rockwell's locators, and competitors.
  • Review and approve concept drawings and architectural plans, ensuring alignment with engineering plans (MEPFs) and Rockwell's design guidelines.
  • Conduct inspections during the store fit-out period to ensure tenants comply with approved drawings.
  • Prepare weekly tenancy report/dashboard.
  • Create cut-up drawings for each leasable space using AutoCAD.
  • Approve and monitor tenant's marketing and store window displays.
  • Coordinate closely with Mall Operations, Retail Leasing, Engineering, and Marketing teams regarding tenant issues and exhibitions.
  • Willingness to undertake special projects, such as dressing up units for residential projects.
Educational Background
  • Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
  • Licensed Interior Designer or Architect
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience
Technical Skills
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in CAD and sketching
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Basic proficiency in Photoshop, Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarity with Google Sheets and Slides
