Overview

Role Purpose
  • Key role is to perform daily BAU and ensure that controls, policies and procedures of the Bank are being adhered to
  • Provide support in handling complex trade finance transactions
  • Assist the Head in implementing effective operational processes and procedures
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Processor/checker of daily BAU transactions covering all import and export transactions including but not limited to Export LC Advising, Export LC Negotiation, Standby LC and Bank Guarantee, Import LC Issuance and Payment
  • Handles general inquiries from internal and external counterparties in relation to trade finance transactions
  • Prepares billing statements and calculates charges for transactions processed
  • Assists in reviewing all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) annually
  • Improves current workflows for efficiency purposes
  • Maintains proper archiving of the records of daily transactions
  • Prepares reports as required by relevant departments to comply with internal / external requirements to the regulators
