Official role title - Sr. HR Generalist, Business Partner

Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Generalist, Business Partner to play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and productive workplace environment. You will be responsible for overseeing key aspects of the employee lifecycle, ensuring seamless HR operations, and enhancing the overall employee experience. As a trusted HR partner, you will provide support to employees across two sites in BGC, maintain compliance with labor laws and company policies, and drive HR initiatives that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for 400+ employees, providing Level 1 HR support.
  • Maintain accurate and updated employee records (both digital and physical copies).
  • Update and manage HR databases, including records for new hires, separations, and leave balances.
  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness within HR systems.
  • Facilitate seamless onboarding experiences, including conducting orientations, sharing onboarding materials, and explaining company policies.
  • Support payroll processing by providing accurate employee data such as attendance, bonuses, and leaves.
  • Manage and coordinate performance evaluations, including regularization and annual assessments.
  • Ensure company policies and labor standards are effectively implemented and enforced.
  • Conduct investigations for incident reports and administer disciplinary actions, including issuance of Notices to Explain (NTE) and disciplinary memos.
  • Process employee requests and provide HR-related guidance and information.
  • Handle cash advance requests and process liquidations as required.
  • Coordinate HR projects, employee engagement initiatives, training sessions, and company events.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and internal communications to support HR and business functions.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the management team regarding employee concerns, engagement strategies, and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all government regulations, company policies, and labor laws.
  • Perform additional HR-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or any related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a mid-level HR role, preferably in a mid to large-sized organization (~500 employees).
  • Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws and compliance regulations.
  • Experience in the BPO industry is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and other HR-related tools.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and enhance employee relations and engagement initiatives.
